Another Reason I Love New York...


...because miracles really do happen here.


For all you 150+ who survived that little unexpected dip in the Hudson (on this, the coldest day of the year, no less) may I suggest a Hot Buttered Rum this evening?

Hot Buttered Rum
(PRINT RECIPE CARD)
1 - 1 1/2 oz rum (light, dark or spiced)
1 teaspoon sugar (or a mix of plain sugar + dark brown sugar)
Boiling water
1 teaspoon butter
Grated nutmeg
Cinnamon stick

Place the rum, sugar and butter in a large mug. Add some boiling water and mix until sugar dissolves. Top with a bit of nutmeg, add a cinnamon stick and enjoy.
